DAY TOUR TO ANDASIBE

Tour itinerary: Antananarivo → Moramanga → Andasibe → Antananarivo

 Adandasibe Perinet village is found at a 4h drive through national road N°2 to the center East. On route we will visit the fascinating park owned by the peyrieras family, to see cockerel’s Sifaka, and Chameleons, and many other reptiles, and some animals such as butterflies, tenrecs, Gecko, Tree Boa, and crocodile. Watch the chameleon being fed. Andasibe Rain Forest is rich in endemic animals including the biggest lemurs called Indri-Indri as well as the endemic species like amphibians, birds, Plants. We will drive you to Vakona Reserve to visit the lemur’s island. Where we will do the canoe excursion to have contact with other lemur species such as the black and white Ruffed Lemurs, Brown Lemurs, and Bamboo Lemurs. Here you can spot to photograph them closely.

TOUR PROGRAM:

6:00 Am –Leave from your hotel early the morning after your good breakfast to Andasibe Perinet Village. 

We will drive for 3:30 hrs on national road N°2, with passing through the highland scenery and rice field, the green forest landscapes and culture from each small village on the roadside.

09:00 Am -Upon arrival, we will visit directly the Analamazaotra national park.

A guided walk where you will spot the biggest lemur lives in the wild which is Indri-Indri and other 13 species such as Golden Sifaka, Brown fronted, red-bellied, Wooly, Grey Bambo, black and white ruffed lemurs. 

You will discover the endemic plants and many kinds of orchids species, birds as well during the hike.

11:00 Am - We will continue drive to VAKONA for lunch at the restaurant  and spot the lemur on their private island where you will able to have contact with 4species of them like (Black and white ruffed lemur, Brown fronted, Cute Bambo the smallest day-active lemur, and also doing the canoe excursion where you will see the rarest but popular lemur called King Juliana or known as Ring Tails -(Catta).

1:00 Pm- We will drive you back on the same road to Antananarivo. 

On route we will visit the fascinating park owned by the peyrieras family, to see cockerel’s Sifaka, and Chameleons, and many other reptiles, and some other Malagasy animals such as butterflies, tenrecs, Gecko, Tree Boa, and crocodile. Watch the chameleon being fed in their garden. 

4: 00 PM-Keep driving on the mine the road after the visit to this community park to reach the capital and for sure we will arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.
