Itinerary: Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park Your safari begins with a drive from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park, renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Witness large herds of elephants and other wildlife against the backdrop of the majestic mountain. Day 2: Exploring Amboseli Spend a full day exploring Amboseli. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives where you can spot lions, cheetahs, buffalo, and a myriad of bird species. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park and the swamps teeming with wildlife. Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Nakuru National Park After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird lover’s paradise. Known for its flocks of flamingos, the park also hosts a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. Arrive in time for lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for leopards, Rothschild giraffes, and the endangered rhinos. Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara National Reserve Leave Lake Nakuru behind and journey to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an evening game drive. The Masai Mara is renowned for its exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. Day 5: Full Day in Masai Mara Dedicate this day to exploring the wonders of the Masai Mara. Experience morning and afternoon game drives across the vast savannahs, with opportunities to witness the Big Five. Optionally, you can take a hot air balloon ride for a unique aerial perspective of the Mara plains (additional cost). Day 6: Masai Mara to Nairobi After a final morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Reflect on your incredible journey through Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations as you transfer to your hotel or the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
