Tour itinerary: Kathmandu → Jubing
Lower Solu Khumbu Mera peak climbing is one of the village or family treks in Nepal. This trek is an excellent opportunity to get soaked up in geographical and cultural diversities that this region has to offer. The famous Sherpa community dominates the major part of the region whereas the lower part of the Solu Khumbu is occupied by the large number of ethnic tribe called Kirat Rai after which other ethnic groups such as Brahmins and Magars are also contributing for the welfare of the same. As a village trek, here we need to hike through several hamlets that have settled on the hills, as a result we will get to experience and learn a lot about the tradition, culture, old monasteries and the lifestyles of the people living there.
Not to mention the views of the number of the stunning eight thousand of the whole Everest Mountain range including Makalu to the east and Lhotse to the west is always on the top list of the trip highlights as this is where the highest point on Earth stands with pride. This trek could be easy in terms of difficulty level but as we have combined this with the Mera peak climbing, there are certain things that we need to consider such as: Mera is the highest trekking peak of Khumbu region in Nepal as classified by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), Mera peak is a great and popular peak among climbers and trekkers. It lies in Makalu Barun National Park, standing at the height of 6476m in Sagarmatha zone of Solukhumbu district.
