Tour itinerary: Kathmandu
The highest hiking mountain in Nepal, Mera mountain (6,461m/21,190ft), is reached through Mera Peak Climbing. The finest times to climb Mera Peak are in the spring and fall, when the breathtaking vistas of the Himalayan Vista are most breathtaking. From the top, one can see five 8,000-meter peaks: Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Everest, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu.
Mera Peak climbing is an excellent option for anyone with moderate mountaineering experience. It is a challenging trekking peak due to its elevation, but the technical mountaineering skills requirement is very basic.
Day 1
Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft) and back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft), Duration: 8-9 hours
