Description of the tour

Tour itinerary: Kathmandu → Khumbupasanglahmu → Kathmandu

Nirekha Peak is listed in the list of new ‘A’ trekking peaks of Nepal. To climb this peak a fee of $500 must be paid. Nirekha Peak lies east of the Cho La Col which is few hundred meters away of the Famous Cho La pass in the same chain as the Lobuche summits. To climb the summit one needs to be properly trained and experienced. The peak is great and difficult to climb depending on the conditions. Itinerary Day 1 : Arrive at Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1345 m). transfer to a hotel documentation process and flight booking to Lukla. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Day 2 : Fly Kathmandu to Lukla (2860 m: 30 minutes of flight) and Trek to Phakding (2610m: 3-4 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Phakding. Day 3 : Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar( 3440 m: 5-6 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar. Day 4 : Acclimatization Namche hike to Khumjung village and Everest View Hotel ( 3962 m) and return to Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar. Day 5 : Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole( 4040 m: 5-6 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Dole. Day 6 : Trek from Dole to Machhermo ( 4150 m: 5 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Machhermo. Day 7 : Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake (4700 m: 5-6 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Gokyo lake. Day 8 : Hike up to Gokyo Ri ( 5340 m: 1-2 hours of hike) and Trek to Dragnag ( 4650 m: 4-5 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Dragnag. Day 9 : Trek from Dragnag to Nirekha Peak Base Camp [4950m: 6 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Base Camp. Day 10-14 : Climbing Period. Day 15 : Trek back from Base Camp to Dzongla ( 4830 m: 5-6 hours of trek) via Cho-La passes ( 5467 m). Overnight stay in Dzongla. Day 16 : Trek back from Dzongla to Pangboche ( 3,985 m: 6 hours of trek) via Pheriche (4,371 m). Overnight stay in Pangboche. Day 17 : Trek From Pangboche to Manjo ( 2,835 m: 6-7 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Manjo. Day 18 : Trek from Manjo to Lukla ( 2860 m : 6-7 hours of trek). Overnight stay in Lukla. Day 19 : Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu ( 30 minutes of flight), explore Kathmandu city. Overnight stay in Kathmandu. Day 20 : Departure from Kathmandu.
