Day Trip to Gorlitz & Zgorzelec from Prague

Everyone goes from Prague to Dresden. Or to Munich. Or to Berlin. And no one knows the wondeful hidden gem that is Görlitz. The easternmost city in Germany, just 2 hours away from Prague, located on the Oder River which itself is the border between Germany and Poland. Picture it (in words of Sophia Petrillo). You are in Germany, with a glass of mulled wine in one hand and a pretzel in the other hand taking a slow walk across the river (50 meters / 150 feet), minding your own business and here you are! In the Eastern Europe! Fantastic! 
Not only is Goerlitz itself a city of extraordinary beauty, but also a striking difference, I would even say the contrast between Goerlitz and Zgorzelec, Germany and Poland, the West and the East, will not leave anyone indifferent. On our way we will stop at a Three State Point, where Three States meet. Sounds interesting, right?
